 Yes friends, it's true you can take zoom classes on low internet speed by using the WISE APP. This app was developed in India by IIT graduates due to very low internet speed in J&K. They claim that this app work at 2G speed also. This app got 100,000K downloads in a few months. So let's get to the point why should you shift your existing classes on zoom to the wise app :

  • First of all Wise app runs on 2g network also. So minimizing the speed issue while online classes.
  • You can send all your content (notes) through it. And it is saved in the app cloud. No need to resend it always.

  • Students can discuss their doubts on it also and teachers can rectify them easily.

Installing the app :

For smartphone:

  • Go to the play store and type Wise app and download the app right now or press on this link DownloadWiseApp


IOS:

  • Go to the app store and search for the Wise app and download & install it. 

For laptop :

You have to operate through the Wise app website. So type wiseapp.live in your browser window or just press on this link WiseappWEBSITE to directly go to the website.
You will land on this page.

Setup the app:

  • Click on the login button appears on the upper right side of the laptop and start button on mobile .

  • Now you will reach here then type your mobile number and click on get OTP.

  • Now after receiving the OTP, sign in and then you will reach on the page like this just enter your name and select the teacher option. Click on submit/next.

  • Now after this you will get here ( below images) please click on add class option on the laptop .

    • Now enter the desired name of your class in classroom name and the subject you teach in the subject, now add the desired timings of your classes. For eg i have entered '11-D' and 'maths' as my classroom name and subject respectively.

    • Now your class is created and it will visible on the home screen. In Laptop, click on view detail to open this class page, then click on the invite option and copy the link and send it to the WhatsApp group of your class. In mobile simply you will land on a page (like below) just click on invite students and copy the link and send it to the WhatsApp group of your class.

    • The student has to download the app in his/her mobile and sign up with his number and then enter the name and select the student option, then enter the classroom id that you send it in the WhatsApp group and click on enroll and his/her work done. 
    • Now, wait for the students to enroll when they start enrolling you will be getting join request to accept these requests, go into the students/participants tab in the app/website.

    • Now you have enrolled the students. Whenever you will go live your all students will get a notification through the Wise app so no worry to always send messages on WhatsApp. 
    • When you click the GO LIVE button then automatically your zoom class will start.





    I strongly recommend everyone to watch this above video for 30 min. only, you will understand how to take tests, solve doubts, share notes through the wise app, also anything you do not understand above from this video. Please watch it.
