How to control your PC using your smartphone wirelessly from anywhere in the world ?

 Hi friends , Parth here welcomes you in yet another interesting post about using your smartphone to control your PC from every corner in the globe . So first let us understand actually what it is :



What actually it is ?

Actually we will use a software from which a connection will be made between the computer or laptop to your another device it could be smartphone or another pc or laptop . Here we will use to build the connection between windows PC and an android smartphone ( no worry same procedure for Mac and ios respectively ) .

Why the use of this thing ?

  1. Sometimes we forgot to shut down our PC and we are far from it at some other place. At that time we feel the need of this technology to remotely shut down our system , no worry how far you are.
  2. The next thing is that sometime we forgot to carry any presentation (ppt or any other document) to our work place then we can remotely access and download anything from the PC to your smartphone , making your  presentation successful .
  3. The need of this thing varies from one person to another like if something went wrong in your PC then your computer vendor can access and may cure any software issue ( if it is ) and fix your computer . This become sometime too useful.
So the uses are too many i think that it will take a whole post to cover this thing up . So lets move on.

What we need ?

  1. Your PC .
  2. Your smartphone .
  3. Active internet on both above devices .

Finally the steps:

  • So first for your PC press on this link DownloadsAnydesk to go to download page of anydesk software and download according to your device operating system ex. i have windows so i have downloaded windows software .
                                                                         OR 
          Type "anydesk.com"on your browser window and go the download page and  Install the program.

       
  • Now for your smartphone or any other device whether laptop , mobile or other. Just follow the Step 1 above again to download the application software again in the device from which you will be controlling your PC. For ex. i will be controlling the PC from android smartphone so i am downloading the android software of Anydesk.
                                        

                                                        

  • Now open the anydesk software on your both system (PC and mobile) and you can see a unique code will appear in both of them. Just enter the code of PC in your mobile and click on connect  And now accept the connection invite which will appear in your PC .

How to download files of PC on smartphone via Anydesk ?

  • So while controlling your PC from smartphone , simply copy your desired file . For ex. I want a video from my computer in my smartphone.

  • To copy it just go to the menu and select the input tool that i have selected below in the image.

  • Then a keyboard will appear and press CTRL from the keyboard and the key would turn green after clicking on it . please see the image below :

  • Now you have to select alphabet keyboard option ( see the image below) and then from the alphabet keyboard select C then your file ( here video ) would be copied to the clipboard .
    Select Alphabet Keyboard option.

Press C from alphabet keyboard.
  • You have now copied your file ( CTRL + C ) in above steps . Now we have to download this from clipboard . Simply select the menu and and follow the image below :
Follow this orange path i have drawn and then your file will be downloaded in your  mobile. You can search it in your file manager by the name anydesk .
